Cart Colors
Old Waste Industries/GFL Carts Still in use - Gray Body is Garbage and Green Body is Recycling
Residential solid waste is collected Monday through Friday each week.
All household garbage must be bagged, and the bags must be placed within the rolling 96-gallon, GFL Environmental trash cart provided by the Town to ensure proper service. Residents receiving curbside solid waste services must also be certain to place their trash carts at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on their designated weekly collection day.
Please avoid placing additional garbage bags outside your trash cart. Please also avoid placing your rolling trash container in front of or behind parked vehicles or near storm drain grates. Doing these things could mean that your trash will not be picked up that week.
It is most important to remember, as well, that all trash and recycling containers must be kept off the street during inclement weather events when streets will need to be plowed. Carts left on the street are at risk of being damaged.
