Historic Christian Church (226 Church St.):

The Historic Christian Church (HCC) is perfect for meetings, workshops, and classes! It can accommodate up to 128 people standing or 60 seated, with tables and chairs available for 40 guests. Your rental includes access to a TV monitor for presentations, a refrigerator, sink, and two bathrooms, plus convenient on-site parking. The hourly rate is $60 for Morrisville residents and $75 for non-residents.

Rental Rules and Regulations

  • Individuals are responsible for any personal items brought into a facility. 
  • Persons/groups are responsible for returning any Town-owned equipment, chairs, and tables to their designated areas. 
  • Set up and take down for an event is the responsibility of the individual and is included in the rental time. 
  • All trash must be picked up, bagged, and place in designated areas. Please bring additional trash bags for any trash that cannot be place in the trash receptacles.
  • The following are prohibited within or on the premises of any Town facility:
    • Smoking
    • All illegal drugs and other substances
    • Alcoholic beverages 
    • Weapons of any kind, except those carried by law enforcement officers in the execution of their duties or public demonstrations as approve by the director
    • Use of profanity or profane gestures 
    • Any type of behavior that is detrimental to the normal operations of the facility
    • Inflatables
  • Decoration cannot be taped, nailed, tacked or otherwise attached to any tables, walls, ceilings, or any other portion of the buildings or equipment. 
  • Use of confetti, glitter, paint or any adhesives are prohibited. 
  • If your shelter rental exceeds to maximum number of attendees, you will be require to rent the nearby field. 

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Facility cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the rental may receive a refund of 50 percent of the rental fee and the full deposit. Cancellations 14 days or less will only receive a refund of the deposit. 
  • Shelter rentals are "rain or shine." Please be aware that the rental fee for shelter rentals is non-refundable if it rains. 
  • Field rentals are subject to cancellation for inclement weather. If the department cancels a rental reservation due to inclement weather, the renter does have the ability to receive a full refund or transfer to another date within 30 days of the rental.

To be compliant with Town Ordinances, a special event permit may be required for some rental agreements where the public is invited.
