Small Group Strength Training

Build strength, boost endurance, and achieve your fitness goals in a supportive, high-energy environment. This class is designed for individuals who want to take their strength training to the next level with personalized attention in a small group setting. Each session combines a variety of free weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises to target all major muscle groups. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, the instructor will tailor the intensity and modifications to meet your needs. Expect a fun and challenging workout that enhances your power, stability, and muscle tone, all while receiving expert guidance in a motivating group atmosphere.

Shotokan Karate

All of our karate classes emphasize the development of power, smoothness and balance in punching, kicking, blocking/parrying, and body shifting. Participants can expect to increase their flexibility, coordination, and bodily awareness by learning the combative techniques of this traditional Japanese, empty-handed martial art.

How to Register

If you have an account already, please log in.
Select “Activities” from the top navigation bar, then choose “Aquatics” from the drop-down list.
Add the desired swim lesson option to your cart, and read and sign the prerequisite waiver before checking out. Please note that if you sign this waiver certifying that the participant meets the prerequisites and we find that this is not the case, you will not be eligible for a refund. Please read and review the waiver carefully before signing.

TeenFit

TeenFit is a fun, engaging program for youth ages 11 - 14 that teaches safe and effective use of gym equipment, from strength training to cardio. Participants build confidence, learn fitness skills, and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Perfect for teens ready to get fit and start their fitness journey!

Program Partners

MAFC is proud to partner with numerous organizations to offer additional programming. These are paid programs that are not included with membership. The physical therapy programs may be covered by health insurance.

How to Sign Up

The MAFC offers a wide range of ongoing programs, activities. To register for these programs, visit our online registration portal, ActiveNet.

Programs Refund Policy

A full refund, minus a $10 administrative fee, will be given if written notice of cancellation is given at least 14 days before the start of the program.

A 50 percent refund will be considered for requests received less than 14 days prior to class starting, only if the spot can be filled from a wait list. No refund requests will be considered if spot cannot be filled.

No refund requests will be considered for participants who signed the swim class waiver and proceeded with registration without meeting the required prerequisites.
