Do you 'Know Your No's'? Screenshot 2025-04-16 102809

Recycling is done by GFL as part of the Town's solid waste service contract. Material to be recycled is taken to the Sonoco multi-material sorting facility in Raleigh. In support of our Language Access Plan, we have added a Hindi version of the Recycle Right flyer.

When in doubt, throw it out!

What can be recycled in Morrisville?

When placing items in the household recycling bin, please keep paper dry, as wet paper will be sent to the landfill. Mixed rigid plastic must be under 2 feet in length, and under 40 pounds.

Please remember to rinse and to flatten all recyclables as appropriate to maximize the use of your recycling bin or cart space.

All curbside recycling customers must have recycling containers curbside and ready for pick up no later than 7 a.m.  GFL will not collect any recyclables (including cardboard) left outside the recycle container.

Please bring your cooled FOGs in a screw-top container and  place them on a shelf in the blue cabinet right outside the main entrance gate.
