CERT training teaches disaster response skills to safely help those around you when disaster strikes and when professional responders aren’t available. Learn how to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community. 

Registering at https://terms.ncem.gov/TRS/courseDesc.do?sourcePage=courseSearch&cofId=168495 gives you access to the online training portion and allows us to communicate with you in preparation for the in-class, hands on, practical portion of your training. Start and complete the online training, print your certificate and bring it to the hands-on, practical portion of the training. Once the practical portion is completed you will be issued an official certificate of course completion. Registration closes Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Online training must be completed by Sunday, March 30, 2025. Both skill days on April 5 & 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. must be attended in full to earn certification.
